Emilia or Mai-Li

Hi everyone!

We're expecting our second baby in February. We already know it's going to be a second daughter. Our oldest daughter is named Ina. We're torn between two names and just can't decide. Hopefully, you guys can help us out??

Thanks in advance!

Amelia is on our shortlist. Emilia sounds similar, so I think it's a lovely name!

Are you Chinese or Japanese? Mai-Li doesn't really sound Dutch to me, or am I mistaken? No offense intended! Best

There's nothing wrong with either name, but I just don't think they fit Ina.

I'm fully Dutch-speaking, you know! ;-) My husband and I just want a special name that isn't very common. We don't care if the names don't go well together, as long as we like hearing them..
    Name suggestions are always welcome

I think Mai-Li sounds nicer. But Emilia fits better. With Mai-Li, people will probably assume it's an Asian baby.
Written together as Maili, though, that's a different story haha.

I think Mail-Li sounds really nice, but I do expect an Asian baby (which doesn't have to be a problem, of course). I also think Emilia is beautiful. Maybe Maila, Malin, Mia, Celia, Aila or Ela is something else.
