Negative 1 day before my O. Was there sperm or not?

Hi
First time here, but I've been lurking a bit..
We're now in the first round. (I got pregnant right away with my son)
Today, 1 day before my period, I took a Kruidvat test, negative.
Got a bit impatient, but still.. I assume it's nothing.
Definitely had an egg 13 days ago (judging by temp/mucus)
Did our homework well beforehand, but I'm wondering if my uterus actually contracted. Maybe not because of the stress.. I'm doubting because no sperm came out of me then, and that usually happens. Or is that normal around ovulation?
Any experiences?

My experience is that it always ends up being something, regardless of ovulation or not. The amount of ejaculation can vary each time. If he has masturbated shortly before intercourse, there can be significantly less coming out than if he has been "dry" for a week.
If you've completely lost track... then he probably didn't come or he had already ejaculated earlier, so there wasn't much more coming out. -

Assume your husband isn’t going to sit there faking it when you’re trying to conceive and already have a kid together?! A man can really tell if something came out or not.
