Abbreviation for Penelope

We’ve had the name Penelope in mind for a while, but we think it’s a bit too long and can’t think of any cute nicknames for it besides Penny, which we both don’t really like. Do you have any other options?

Are you going to pronounce Penelope in an English or Dutch way?

I don't get further than Nelly either, but I guess that's not what you're looking for... Or maybe Pip?

I was also thinking of Pip or Pien or something like that. Or maybe Nele?
But then it suddenly becomes very Dutch. Maybe Pia? Although that doesn't sound like the original name anymore..

Beautiful name! Wouldn't shorten it. First baby? Greetings

    I went looking for you.
Besides Penny, I also came across the Old English first name: Penn.
Nowadays, there are many names with a double last letter.

No, second girl, we already have a daughter who's one and a half. Mylena
