Looking for other pregnant women

Hi, I'm Heidi, 23 years old and 4.5 months pregnant with my first baby, a boy. I live in Deurne near Antwerp and would really like to meet other pregnant women in the area. I've been through a tough time recently, and that's when I realized my "real friends" aren't really there—no one, it turns out. I have a very sweet friend and mom, but that's still different from having a girlfriend you can hang out with and share the experience with. I often feel so alone and misunderstood. Can I really be the only pregnant woman or soon-to-be mom who feels this way? I hope to meet nice people here, even if it's just for a chat online, and maybe make some friendships.

    Hi Heidi,

    While my fake friends are getting back to their lives and don't want to see me anymore, I think I'm going through the same thing. Made plans with friends suddenly get forgotten or just aren't kept. I'm 21 and most people think that's too young. But I'm really happy with my almost 17 weeks of pregnancy and enjoy it every day. I don't live nearby, but it seems like something to message if you're going through something difficult.

    My midwife gave me an invitation for a group of mothers who are about as far along as I am. Do you have anything like that in your area?
