Do they count the weeks from the early ultrasound as extra?
So if they say, for example, you're 10 weeks pregnant now, is that measured from the last period or from conception?

The dating scan is scheduled for me at 11.5 weeks after my period. The exact moment of conception doesn’t really matter to them; they do the dating scan precisely to determine the exact length of the pregnancy and therefore the due date. -

I started doubting because there's a 5-day difference; I'm 5 days less pregnant than when I calculate from my period.
But I have an average cycle of 34 days, so my ovulation isn't on day 14. That's probably where the difference comes from.
