Baby Names
Sister/brother for Kiki
IrisGuest ·
Hi! So glad to be on this forum.
My partner and I are expecting our first child together. He already has a daughter named Kiki Floris. We don't know yet if we're having a girl or a boy.
For a boy, the name has been set for months: Ivo Hub. What do you all think of that?
For a girl, we're really torn. My partner wants a name along the lines of Kiki: Lola, Sammie, and Nina are his favorites.
I, on the other hand, don't think those are great for an adult woman, so I prefer a short, Dutch name. That's why my list includes names like Nynke (I thought that was a good mix of both tastes, but my partner didn't like it at all), Nele, Roos, and Fem(ke).
We're completely stuck. Does anyone know a name we'd both like? I'd describe what I'm looking for as cheerful, short, mature, Dutch, and easy to pronounce. It would also be nice if it somehow matched Kiki.
Her middle name will be Anne.
Hope you can make sense of all this
Thanks in advance! Love, Iris
