Baby Names
First daughter

Hi everyone,
We’re expecting our first baby girl!
I had to get used to the idea; always thought I’d have boys! But now I’m on the hunt for the perfect name.
She’s half Korean, half Dutch.
I prefer names that are fairly short, easy to pronounce as they’re spelled, and have a nice “look” to them. (Oh, what if I were a teacher and had to deal with kids who’d have to spell their names for 90 years? Hihi...)
I’m leaning toward Dutch names and old-time classics... Sophie, Rosa, Emma...
My partner isn’t keen on very Dutch names (Guusje, Teuntje, etc.) and would rather avoid top-20 names. (My counter: There’s a reason they’re top 20! Haha)
A double name is also an option... We’d love a middle name that honors someone. My mom’s name is Elsa Lovisa (Yep... Elsa and Anna. Blonde and brunette...) and his mom’s name is Christa.
Bring it on! ;-)
Thanks in advance!
