Am I pregnant?

Hi everyone,

My partner and I have been trying to get pregnant for a while now. My cycle isn't completely regular (34-38 days), but I do manage to find my ovulation each month using a test strip.
My period is due any day now (today, tomorrow, or the day after), and I've already had some typical stomach pain for a few days that I experience every month!
However, this morning I took a Sensitest pregnancy test, and it showed a second faint line next to the control line. It's definitely not an evaporation line because I read the result after 2 minutes!
So, am I pregnant after all? I'm doubting it because my stomach pain really feels like period cramps, and I haven't felt any implantation symptoms or bleeding, nor have I had any other symptoms...
Best,
An

    Hey An,
I see a faint line too! I also had some abdominal pain in the first weeks of my pregnancy that you could compare to menstrual cramps. I’d suggest doing another test tomorrow morning and see if the line is a bit darker, but I think I can congratulate you
    Congratulations!

    Hi Mom,

Thanks for your reply! It's good to know you had period cramps too. Since this would be our first baby, it's hard for you to compare. I don't know what I should or shouldn't feel during pregnancy. The symptoms are so different for everyone anyway. Every time I go to the toilet, I'm still scared to see that my period has started. So there are still some tense days ahead!

That was my first test too, haha! Congratulations. Besides, there aren't any symptoms that everyone has it varies from person to person. In the first few weeks, I only had very light twinges at the bottom of my belly, like a sports-related pulling sensation. The rest came much later! Glad that after all this time, it's turning out positive for you now.

    Thanks for your replies!

I'm feeling quite nervous now. Really scared that something might go wrong since it's still so early. I'll be taking another test in a few days, and then I'll make an appointment with my GP and the gynecologist :-)
