I’m already 3 weeks past my due date, and I’ve decided it’d be fun to come up with a second name for our girl.
Her nickname will be Evi. I’d really like to include a family name in the second name, but my mom and mother-in-law’s names—Hilda and Tineke—don’t really go well together.
My idea is Jonie (derived from Johan and Ronnie, our dads). But then you get “Evi Jonie,” with the “ie” sound twice. What do you think, and do you have any other suggestions?
