12 days overdue and 2 negative tests

Hi everyone,
Over the past few days, I started to wonder if I might be pregnant. I'm already 12 days late and experiencing various symptoms. My breasts are sore and painful, I have lower back pain, occasional nausea, cramps in my stomach, and I feel very pale and tired. I'm also more emotional than usual.

I took a test last Saturday and there was a faint line indicating it was positive. After that, I took 3 more tests on the following days, but they were all negative. Is there still a chance that I could be pregnant despite the negative tests?

    I'm afraid it might have been an early miscarriage. So you were pregnant for just a very short time, but something went wrong right after or during implantation. That explains the very faint line and now the three negative tests.

    Of course I hope for positive news for you, but it seems advisable to keep the above in mind.

    You could wait for your period. Or if you really want to be sure, you could get a blood test for hCG done by your GP.

    That could very well be... I actually fell down the stairs the day before yesterday... I have an appointment with the GP tomorrow and of course I hope it's not a miscarriage... I'm curious!

    With both kids, I only got a positive test after 2 weeks past due. I don't want to give false hope or anything, but it can happen. Otherwise, ask for a blood test at the GP.
