Name for our boy!

Hi everyone,
Right now I'm 30 weeks pregnant and still hesitating about the name for our son!
We have 3 names we like, but there are quite a few doubts.
The first name is Aron, this name is my preference, the only thing holding me back is that a friend from primary school whom I still have on Facebook has already chosen this name for her child. I never talk to her anymore.
The second name is Aiden, this name is my husband's preference, and I'm wondering if it might come off as a bit (not meant offensively) ordinary, and I also have the feeling that I once discussed this name with a friend, and she thought it was a nice name.
The third name is Adam, this is already a somewhat more common name, and since I'm a teacher, that's not always convenient either.
I'd love your opinions, preferences, and maybe you have other ideas! Thanks in advance.
Greetings, Sara

If you think Aron is a really nice name, I’d just go for it! Why not? If you’re never going to talk to that elementary school friend again, I don’t see the problem. So if I were you, I wouldn’t let that hold me back at all. I think it’s a lovely name! I also think Aiden is really nice! I don’t think it comes across as tacky at all. Adam isn’t really my thing. Good luck!

I think Aron is super cute and wouldn’t have a problem with the link to the primary school friend herself. With Aiden, I have a bit of the same association as you. Adam is indeed super popular and I’d find it too popular myself. Alternatives: Abel, Alex, Art, Emil, David, Odin, Nathan, Jaron, Timon, Olaf.

I think Aron (or rather Aaron, as I know it) is a beautiful name, and you're right, you can't take everyone in the world into account. I also have some friends on Facebook who have kids with the same name, but that can always happen when you don't really see or know each other.

I like Aiden the most, but honestly, a friend from elementary school that you never talk to anymore and only see on FB—I won't let the name depend on that. One of my daughters is named Xenia, while the daughter of a good friend is named Xenaia (not the same, but very similar).
I also like Adam, but only if you pronounce it in the English way.

    I'd just go with Aron.
