Help, ovulation tests!

Hi! I've been using the ovulation tests from the Action for a while now, but I'm not really getting any clearer results. Everyone says the line should be even darker or even darker than the control line? I really can't get them to show anything darker than this... I think I must have ovulated on day 17/18. What do you all think??

You didn't add a photo, so I can't explain much.
I do have a photo on my page showing how they look for me—they're also action tests.

You can always order ovulation tests from Sensitest; they're not too expensive.
Or get them from Clearblue so you get a smiley when you hit your peak.

    Mine looked like this:

They really need to be just as dark or darker than the control line; the middle 3 are then simply positive.

    Hi hi,

Would someone mind taking a quick look? First time using ovulation test strips. Normally my ovulation is around day 18 or 19. I usually feel it, or at least I think so, and then my temperature goes up. So this month I wanted to check. I thought if I started on day 11 I could never miss it... But look at my photo... On day 11 my first test was already quite dark... My temperature rose after that too. I think if I had tested on day 10 it would have been positive? Based on my temperature? But if I ovulated on day 11 or 12, isn't that early? Hope someone can help me out...

A positive test on day 11 means your egg is coming within 24-48 hours. So you could have perfectly ovulated on day 13, which is normal. I also just got a positive ovulation test on day 11.

    Hi hi
    Is the test positive?
When I went to read it, I thought, "No way." It's not positive because my egg always comes out on day 18 or 19???? But my temp did rise. It's making me feel a bit unsure :-(

Yes sure! It's positive. I use the same brand.
I don't know why your egg came so early either, of course... But I've also had my egg on day 18 once, while mine is usually on day 13. I think it's not that strange that your egg comes a few days earlier/later sometimes.
But I can understand that this makes you a bit unsure... It's not simple at all, is it!

    Hi hi,
Okay, thanks for your message.. Even though my temp did go up, I was really doubting whether it was positive/is.. But my doubts are unnecessary. So I can stop testing, right?

    Thanks for your replies;-)..

    Greetings

    Hi mom,
This test isn't positive yet, it could still get a bit darker. I guess you'll have a clear positive tomorrow or the day after.
As for the discharge, I always have watery discharge leading up to ovulation. That seems normal to me. The day before and the day of ovulation, I have lots of stretchy mucus.
