Hi everyone,
I’ve been wanting kids for a while now. Lately, though (for about a year), this feeling has been getting stronger and stronger. I’m really looking forward to getting pregnant. I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately. I’m turning 22 this year, so that’s still pretty young. My partner (wife) is 29. The fact that we’re both women makes getting pregnant a bit more complicated. You have to plan more, I guess. We’ve talked about it together, and I’ll be the one carrying the baby. We both have jobs and own our own house together, so we have a good foundation. However, my partner isn’t in such a rush as I am. She definitely wants kids, but she’s not thinking about it as much as I am. I feel completely ready and am really looking forward to it. Are there other ladies who feel the same way? I hope to connect with others who’d like to chat about this kind of stuff.

Totally get that longing! I just have a little girl, but I'm already looking forward to a second one! That's super that you two have made that plan together! And how are you planning to get pregnant? Have you found a donor? I don't really know how that works! -

Yes, the plan is for me to get pregnant, and then with a known donor. Namely, direct family of my wife. We've already talked about it with him once and asked him to think about it. As the next step, we'll go over it with him again to see how he feels about it now. This seems like a really nice way to do it because it will feel more like the baby is also hers for my wife.
