After 19 weeks of pregnancy, a miscarriage

Simone
Hello
After ISCI treatment in DD, I was pregnant. But after 19 weeks, there was no heartbeat and no amniotic fluid anymore. Our baby has passed away. Who else has dealt with this?? After 2 weeks, my grief is starting to come out. Unfortunately, my partner has already closed off and I can't turn to him for support with my grief.

    Hi Simone,
What a sad thing, right? Unfortunately, I’ve been through it myself. My partner and I were really there for each other in the first few weeks, but after a while, you fall back into old patterns, and everyone has their own way of coping. I like to talk about it, while my partner doesn’t talk about it as much. Yeah, it’s really frustrating. I did seek help from psychiatry, etc. Don’t feel ashamed about it, and do it if you feel the need to talk. It’s not something you just get over when you lose a baby. I hope this helps a bit. Lots of strength to you.

Hi ladies, unfortunately here’s another mom who knows how it feels...
Two months ago I had to give birth to my two girls after 17 weeks of pregnancy.
A grief you can hardly share with anyone and that hardly anyone can understand either.
Currently I have good (more or less normal) days and also moments when the grief almost overwhelms me. Flashbacks to those few days at the end of June. On June 19th I saw on the ultrasound that they had both already passed away. And on June 21st they were born.
I’ve also been to a psychologist a few times, really nothing to be ashamed of.
Did you give your little one a name, Simone? And take photos? I find that I draw a lot of comfort from the fact that my girls have names and that I can still see them in photos.
Know that you have the right to every emotion you feel right now and that no emotion is inappropriate. In the first few weeks I didn’t fully realize what had happened either; the deep, overwhelming grief indeed came after about two weeks.
You’re always welcome to send me a private message.
    Big hug
