Looking for experience with having a baby while studying/working!

Hi everyone!
I’d love to hear some experiences from moms!
I really want a baby, but my boyfriend isn’t fully on board yet because he’s in the military and is away a lot (about 5 months in total per year, but of course he’s home a lot in between). We’re both 23, have been together for 8 years now, and have been living together for 3 years.
Next year, I’m starting an HBO part-time study program and a new job. Studying comes easily to me. After a few months, they’ll decide if I get a permanent contract, so I’d like to wait that out for now.
Has anyone here got experience with studying/working while pregnant or being a mom?
At my job, it might be possible to work 3 days one week and 4 days the next week after my maternity leave. The school day counts as a workday.
I’m really curious about your experiences! I won’t be the only working mom, right?
Any tips on how to get my boyfriend on board?

I'm in my final year this year. Studying was going really well for me. But......... since I started feeling the little one, I haven't done anything anymore. I just can't concentrate. A friend already warned me about it. I remember thinking it was just hormonal nonsense. How naive.

I was in my final year (I thought) when I got pregnant with my first. I’d always been pretty good at studying, but once the little one arrived, it really got a lot harder. Broken nights, spending the whole day with your toddler, plus working on top of that—it doesn’t sit well with you. You’re just happy if you can sit on the couch for a bit and do nothing. Then studying is really the last thing on your mind. By the time I finally got back into a bit of a rhythm, I was already in my 7th year and my son was 1.5. I’m not saying it’s impossible, but you really shouldn’t underestimate it!
