Girl's name

Melissaadam
Hi! I've been pregnant for a while now and I'm looking for a girl's name. My son is named Adam and is 2. I want a name that goes a little bit with his.

I already had Djessmee / Djazzmee in mind. I think that's really the prettiest.

What do you all think and which one is nicer to choose? Because I can't decide.

Thanks for your help.

    I'd go for Djazzmee.

I'd go for Esmee. Why the Dj or double ss/zz???

Sounds annoying if you always have to spell your name or explain how to pronounce it later on (yeah, my parents thought it had to be written in a special way).

Or you could just call her Jess or Jazz.
Esmee does fit better with Adam, though.

I would write Jazzmay, if you're going with English, then write it properly in English.

Agnes, I agree with you. Then they'll also understand it if your child might study or work in another country later on. (DJ combinations aren't really understandable everywhere because they don't quickly recognize the letter combination, so they don't understand the sound.)

My daughter's unique name is Ozzyres. She was born on May 29, 2017. Her name is derived from my favorite boy's name, Ozzy, which means "divine ruler." Ozzyres isn't found anywhere on name sites; I've scoured them all. We're already happy with her very unique name. Hopefully, her name will get a place on the world wide web one day.

To avoid confusion with the spelling, I'd write it as Jazzmay.
Djazzmay could also work, but you have to choose, right? I just think it won't be so fun later on having to spell her name, so I'd go for a logical spelling.

    Agree.

Honestly, I'd just go with Esmee. I think it's prettier and clearer.
I know a girl named Esmay, which I also think looks nice.
