11 days light period, help!

Hi everyone,
I just want to share my story:
I'm trying to get pregnant, and normally I have a cycle of 28-30 days.
But something strange has happened now; I've had light bleeding since the third week of my cycle.
This has never happened before, and this light bleeding has already lasted for 11 days, which is very unusual.
I took a test five days before the day I normally expected my period, and it was negative.
I've now made an appointment with the gynecologist to see what's going on.
Has anyone else experienced this before?
