Hi everyone,

I'm 17 days overdue today. (Calculated with a 28-day cycle.) My cycle always fluctuates between 28 and 34 days. Anyway, I'm overdue. The first day of my last period was May 21, 2017.

I've already had 5 negative pregnancy tests, the last one taken when I was 14 days overdue. (3 from Kruidvat and 2 from the pharmacy.)

The day before yesterday, yesterday, and today I've had (for about an hour) really nagging pain in my lower abdomen. Exactly the same pain I always feel during ovulation. If I had just skipped my previous period and the next one was coming, I should be ovulating right now. I did an ovulation test today and it was also negative.

I'm not nauseous and don't have a headache. However, I'm noticing a light brown ring appearing around my areola. Like my nipple is expanding. I also see little white dots around it (not bumps, but just plain white dots), but I'm not sure if that's always been there. And I can't squeeze my nipple because it actually HURTS.

Also, my hands and feet have been feeling warm lately when I'm in bed. They're not sweating though.

My appetite has been completely gone for the past 3 days. Before that, I really had binge eating episodes.

My facial skin is oilier than usual and I'm suddenly getting pimples next to my nose. I've never had this in my life before.

Other than that, I don't have any weird symptoms and I don't have any stress or anything.

I'm not on the pill and therefore not coming off it.

Could I still be pregnant? I'm getting a blood test tomorrow and then I'll have certainty. But I'd love to hear your experiences on this.

Love,

Me, 26

At the beginning of your post, I thought, oh, I know that. But I didn't have all the symptoms you describe. After I stopped the pill, I had 3 very normal cycles, and then cycles of around 50 days and longer. My pregnancy tests were always negative, so I didn't get it either. Then I went to the gynecologist, had blood drawn, etc., and it turned out I have PCOS. Which means I didn't automatically have my monthly ovulation, although I did often have that feeling of stabbing in my belly. But I didn't have all your other symptoms then. Hopefully, you'll get some clarity from your blood test, and if not, I'd say go ahead and look further. The sooner you know, the sooner you can start treatment. After 3 rounds of hormones, I got pregnant. So nothing insurmountable.
