Trying to get pregnant with baby #2

Hi everyone,
I had my IUD removed on June 30th and got my period on July 2nd.
We’d love to have a second child; I already have a 20-month-old. I’m 29 years old. I’d enjoy chatting with other moms here about this in the forum!
Love, Irene

Hi Ireen, I'm Betty, 33 years old, and we'd also like to have a second child. My son is 1 year and 1 month old.
I had a C-section, so we were required to wait a year, which means the desire for a second child has grown quite strong. I really hope it doesn't take longer than it did with the first one.

Hi Betty, nice that you replied! Exciting again, huh, trying for a second baby!
I bled a lot after having the Mirena removed, with clots and all. I called the doctor, said it was normal, I reacted a bit more strongly than others to the removal.
Just wondering now if I can already count this as a period?
How long have you guys been trying for a second?

    Hi Ireen,

I'm 25 years old. When my son was 15 months old, I got pregnant with our second child, which unfortunately ended in a miscarriage. Now my son is 25 months old, and I'm 36 weeks pregnant with the second one.

After stopping the pill, I got pregnant right away in the first month. Even a month after the miscarriage was "clean," I got pregnant again. So I was lucky! I have no experience with an IUD, but I'm considering getting one after the birth.

    Hi MamaN,
Congratulations on your second pregnancy! How are you feeling? It’s annoying that you had a miscarriage; I had one too for our son, and I got pregnant again right after that month.
I think I felt my ovulation last night and now I’m having little twinges in my right groin—could be implantation...?
Has anyone else felt implantation? If so, what did you feel?

That can't happen so quickly. Ovulation yesterday, implantation today

No, that's a bit too fast, indeed. Should we have a bit more patience?

Exciting, Ireen, when can you test?

This pregnancy is a bit heavier with a toddler of 2 who I have to chase after well, last stretch, hehe.

I can only test next weekend, my due date is around Aug 1. Assuming my cycle gets back on track after the IUD was removed.
Yeah, I get that it's pretty tough right now with a little one running around! When is your due date?

I do have a feeling that it might be on target—pain down below, little twinges in my groin, and cramps in my lower abdomen. And I've also been a bit clumsy from time to time over the last few days.

Hey there ladies, I'm not really expecting a second baby yet, but I suspect I might have gotten pregnant despite the pill. By the way, this already happened to me in February, and it ended in a miscarriage. I had blood drawn on Thursday and will get the results tomorrow, so then I'll know if I'm pregnant. But I had a question: when I lie on my side, no matter which side, I feel a heavy sensation in my belly. I can't really explain it, but I'm curious if any of you ladies have experienced this too or can relate?

    Hi Yuzarsiff,
That sounds exciting, tomorrow's the big day!
I don't really recognize that feeling, not even from my first pregnancy, but it could definitely be part of it since your intestines also need to make room for the growing uterus.

So the results were negative for pregnancy, but there was a very mild infection caused by a virus. This is the first time I’ve experienced pregnancy-like symptoms due to a virus. By the way, I don’t feel sick at all. I’ve been nauseous for over a week with waves of it, and I have a lot of discomfort in my 'uterus' – like menstrual cramps and stabbing pains on both sides. That heavy feeling in my lower abdomen too. oh, doubts, doubts, doubts..

Waiting until the day you can test always feels so long haha. With my son, I waited properly until the NOD, but this time it was already 4 days in advance. And then it was already light positive, I had a feeling.

I'm due on August 7th, so just a little while longer.. the last few tasks are the heaviest with your first child you only have yourself, so if you're tired you just lie down, but now it's a bit different
