How to announce the pregnancy? Any fun ideas?

Hi everyone,
Not pregnant yet, but counting down the days on the waiting list.
I was wondering if any of you have thought about how to announce the pregnancy to your parents/in-laws, etc.?
Anyone got some nice tips for a first announcement?

    We invited my parents and my in-laws over for dinner. I had stuck a card under each plate with "grandpa" or "grandma" written on it, along with a little note. They sat down at the table, and before we started eating, they had to turn their plates over just for a moment. They were so surprised!

    My sister-in-law got a little Nijntje book called "Sleeping Over," asking if our future baby could come over for a sleepover sometime and if she'd like to read this book to them.

    Both were a big success.

    I'm also curious to hear other ideas. Our daughter is now over a year old, and we're planning to try for a second soon. So yes, if we're blessed with another one, I'd naturally want to approach it completely differently.

    I already had pacifiers made with the text: "You're going to be grandparents." And if it works out, I'd make an ice cream cup and hide the little pacifier inside it?

    Heyyyy Fietje! I've also thought about it I wanted to have a onesie printed for my parents with the text: grandma & grandpa, see you in (month and year). And then wrap it up and give it to them

    @Amanda: that's super cute too! I thought Tuutje would find this fun while they were eating ice cream, and then suddenly there's this surprise :-)

    @fietje yesss that's also a cute idea!!!

    And for the rest of our friends and acquaintances, I want to take a photo with an ultrasound picture and our cat, and then something like 'I'm becoming a big sister' with the due month added hihi. Or maybe in English!
