Hi ladies!

Just like a lot of women, I’m dealing with some uncertainty!
I already have a 10-month-old son; he was a total surprise—I got pregnant while on the pill.
Well, I had an IUD inserted 4 months ago..
And since last week, I’ve been feeling exactly the same as when I was pregnant with my Jason (my son). Today I did two tests: one Predictor, which showed a veeeery faint second line, so I did another one from the CB brand, which said not pregnant. But when I took the stick out, I could still see a very faint line.
So I’ll wait a few more days and test again.
I also got my blood drawn today, thinking maybe it’s an iron deficiency.
But I’m not sure when the best time to test is, since my cycle is so irregular now and I haven’t been tracking it.

Anyone with similar experiences? Or tips on what I should do?

Best wishes

    Hi Jessica,

I don't have any experience with this.
How are you doing? I can imagine that you didn't want any more kids (for now), otherwise you wouldn't have had an IUD inserted?

    Good luck and stay strong,
    Kind regards, Dani

    Hi Jessica,
I’ve read that the line on a digital pregnancy test doesn’t necessarily mean you’re pregnant if you take it out of the packaging. But I’m not 100% sure either.
Should you test again today/tomorrow with morning urine?

    Best wishes!

    Good morning Dani,
did another test this morning, CB again not pregnant. I really don't know what to think anymore.. well, I guess I'm not pregnant then, but what is it? I just feel unwell, like a block of concrete in my stomach.
I'm also getting the blood results tomorrow, maybe I'll know more then.
And yes, I wasn't expecting a second child.

That's right, I read that too. I think I just shouldn't overthink it and get so insecure. Did the same CB test this morning and also not pregnant. So tomorrow I'll wait for the blood test results.

Good luck, Jessica, with the results today!

    @Jessica,
That doesn’t sound very nice either, being pregnant again and then going through the IUD..
I hope you’re not pregnant now..
Let me know how things are going.

    Love, Ju

Hi ladies, it's so nice that you're thinking of me. They called me this morning and said I couldn't come in with an iron or infection issue, and asked if I could drop by with a urine sample, so I'm now waiting at the doctor's. I think it's a bit of a mess-up, otherwise why would I have to come back?! I'll keep you posted.

    Good afternoon everyone.
The test is negative! Fortunately, I'm relieved, phew, all sorts of things were running through my head. But I do have a small inflammation near the IUD, probably because when it was inserted I got a bladder infection and now that has spread a bit... But with some medication, it'll get better!

And what a great site this is! You can share everything here, chat here and there! Thanks for your sympathy

    Oh my, congratulations!
I can imagine you were worried, but that’s all over now!!!

Yeah, we're not quite ready for a 2nd one yet...
Gonna wait a little bit longer haha
Yeah, I got a course of antibiotics first, just for the bladder infection because they put a sample of my urine on culture.. and I'll get antibiotics if the results show an infection.
It wasn't a nice feeling but I can't say it really hurt, but afterwards I did have pretty intense stabbing pains and quite bad stomach pain (felt like contractions again) but after a few weeks that was over until this past week then...
Lots of success with your pregnancy!!! ju-11-12

Yeah, we weren't quite ready for a second one yet.
    Just waiting a little longer.

Wishing you lots of success with your pregnancy too, enjoy it! x
