Getting pregnant after an ectopic pregnancy
Anonymous
Hi everyone,
In early April, I was pregnant after 3 rounds of trying. The first 3 weeks were really nice; we were secretly enjoying the fact that it had worked! After a few days of slight bleeding, I went to the doctor earlier than planned at the end of April, and it turned out that the uterus was empty and it was an ectopic pregnancy. Very sad. Over the past 6 weeks, I've been at the hospital several times a week for internal ultrasounds and blood tests every few days. By a miracle, my body broke it down on its own, and I didn't need surgery or medication to end the pregnancy.
Now, last week I got my period again, and we really want to try again.
But now I'm much more insecure and scared than before. The chance that it goes wrong again is apparently scientifically proven to be higher.
Is there anyone who has also had an ectopic pregnancy and is trying again? Or maybe is already pregnant? I would like to talk to someone who understands the feeling or with whom I can share experiences.
