Hey ladies! I had my Implanon removed from my arm 2 months ago. Since then, I haven't had anything. On May 13th, I got my period for the first time. I haven't had protected sex since then... I'll give you a short journey of my past month.

- May 13th: period
- May 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 & 28 were my fertile days (according to the internet, the 27th was ovulation)
That week I had sex on the 18th and 21st, and my boyfriend came inside me. Now I know sperm can live for a few days. So there's a chance I got pregnant on one of those days.
- May 30th: I had light brown blood in my underwear
- June 9th: I took a pregnancy test, it came back negative. I'm convinced the test failed.
- June 10th: it started with light pink discharge, then there was blood. Just red blood, but with a loose texture, it looks like a normal period. I also had those dark red clots in between, and it's the 2nd day that I'm still bleeding. This was accompanied by cramps in my back and belly.

I really want to get pregnant, I don't want to believe that's not the case. I'm wondering if there are other women who lost quite a bit of blood during their first weeks? In any case, more than most people describe.

We haven't had protected sex since my Implanon came out, it can't be otherwise that one of us is infertile, but we've never noticed anything about that ourselves. I bought another pregnancy test and I want to test as soon as I stop bleeding. Besides, I hardly have any pregnancy symptoms. I've never had issues with hormones or certain side effects of medication. The only thing I notice is that lately I've been very tired, I sleep a lot during the day which I couldn't do before, and I'm sometimes nauseous (which I never am), but that only lasts for 5 minutes.

I hope I've been clear... :$ Who knows, maybe one of you ladies can help me further.

Wow... 2 months in and already writing "it can't be otherwise if one of us is infertile."
I advise you to take a look at this forum, then you'll see that trying for a year to get pregnant is still considered short for some here.
I'm now 9 months in and have been on the pill for 12 years. Your hormones need to get back to normal, and this happens faster for some than for others.
By the way, don't panic yet; I want to spare you the possibility that it won't work right away. And this is very normal.
Good luck! And a bleed is probably just your period and unfortunately, not pregnant this round then

Thanks! I'm not saying that one of us is infertile—we would've noticed that a long time ago. I just don't understand why I haven't been using contraception for a while now and still haven't gotten pregnant, but what you're saying is indeed true! There are people who spend months trying to conceive.

I think it's hard to notice fertility. Unless you're doing tests or have already been pregnant with this man by your side. Two months is still pretty short, hopefully you'll get a positive test soon
