Implantation or period??

Hi ladies
I'm new here and wanted to briefly share my story with you all. Maybe there are other women who can relate.

Like everyone here, I'm trying to get pregnant. This is round 1 for us for our first baby. Now, the thing is, I've been having sex on almost all my fertile days. After that, I just went ahead and waited. I have an irregular cycle. Sometimes 26 days, sometimes 32.. I got my last period on May 12th, so around these days I should be getting it again. Now, the thing is, for my expected period I've had light cramps now and then for a week and have had sore breasts. I've never had cramps for a whole week before my period. When my period is coming, I feel it the night before max. One day. Not a whole week. And I've never had sore breasts either. I've also been quite forgetful for a while and very clumsy. And for the past 1.5 weeks I've lost a lot of discharge. By the way, all my tests have been negative...

Last night while wiping, I wiped off a few drops of old brown blood. Th en nothing at all after that. Just now in the morning I went to the toilet and saw pink/purple blood on my panty liner. After peeing, I wiped again and this time I had clear red and watery blood. Also quite a bit.

So now I don't know if it's implantation or just my period. Normally I bleed for 5 days with a lot of pain (I even have to cry while taking painkillers) and cramps. Now I feel nothing.

And when should I best take a test. I've already tried a few times for my expected period. Is it sensible to test while bleeding or should I just wait?

    Hey lady, I'm in the same boat. My last period was on May 15th, so my due date would be May 15th... and indeed, I'm now 4 days late and since yesterday I've had some brownish bleeding + mucus.
    All tests were negative... and today I did an early test where I see a very faint evaporation line... almost invisible and clearly visible with the flash but still faint.
    Then I did a regular test (not an early one) which is blank...
    I consciously placed them side by side to focus on the evaporation line... but the regular test... doesn't show me an evaporation line... while the early one does.
    I don't understand anything anymore? Is it implantation bleeding and am I pregnant or not? I'm getting a bit anxious???? I secretly hope it's the first, even if it might not be that far along yet.

    Menstruation and pregnancy seem so similar. It's always tricky to tell the difference when it's happening..

    We've already started round 2!

    I really want to respond to this.. I honestly don't know what's going on in my body right now.. I should have ovulated around June 18th, and my period is due this Sunday.. Last Monday morning, when wiping, I had pink/bright red discharge, not a lot, but not little either.. Wednesday light pink discharge, Thursday morning one drop of blood, like it came from a little wound.. This morning quite a bit of blood, less than on the first day of my period.. After that, it stopped immediately. I've had sensitive breasts, stabbing pains in my groin, lower back pain, and a bit of a weird feeling in my belly all week.. Also, since my ovulation, I've had quite a bit of discharge (which I normally hardly ever have, so it's just weird)..

    Anyone experienced similar symptoms? I'm really getting in my own way

    Hi Mady,
    You can test earlier...or on your PERIOD or a bit later...it seems like good signs...but it's still exciting and we'll have to wait and see...the blood could indicate implantation...that doesn't seem wrong to me!!
    I'm curious...!!
    Let me know what you're doing and what the result is?

    @JaniceEve, oh so it's still exciting after all! Thanks for your reply I think I'll wait a little longer... it has to happen over the weekend, so if it doesn't break, I'll do it on Tuesday, my work-from-home day (if I can keep it up, hehe)

    Oh Mady, that's so nice and exciting!!
    I hope I can congratulate you soon!! For now, just hang in there and especially get into that dreamy state...that helped me out while waiting!! Hihihi
    Anyway, have a nice weekend despite having to work.

    I'm following along carefully!
    June 7th was my last period, on June 18th (tested with CB digital + was sick from it) I ovulated. The day before yesterday suddenly around 5 PM while wiping, I lost pink/brown blood. My expected period is July 3rd so I thought hmm, maybe period coming earlier than expected, but normally I really get bad cramps and get my period. So just in case I put in a tampon for the night and yesterday morning only the tip was a bit brownish (excuse me) and the rest of the day no pain anywhere. This morning again very little brown discharge and now just a tiny bit. But I have 0 symptoms, no sore breasts, not nauseous, nothing. Yes very occasionally sharp stabs but well that can always happen.
    Yesterday afternoon I suddenly felt very pregnant, and just now a little bit again. I have no idea what it could be, for some it signals the period, but this is new in my cycle. It went well from ovulation until now and no urge to test, but that urge is really starting to come on now!

    Yesss, so exciting! I already prepared my boyfriend that it wouldn't be a March baby, but I did think it was something.. it's definitely different from what I'm used to.. lovely of you! Working on the weekend also helps pass the time without thinking about it too much hihi.. I've been pinning a lot lately!

    @TaSi you're also in an exciting time then! All kinds of weird things, right! I sometimes really get butterflies in my stomach!!

    I'm feeling a bit nervous. Tomorrow morning I want to take a test; I still have 2 CB Plus tests left from last month.

    I often see here that women are on 'Pinterest' or something, looking at baby rooms/stuff. What does that actually involve?

    Yeah, I've got those nervous jitters too, TaSi!!
    I've also got these kind of blue spiderweb-like veins on my breasts.. I just asked my boyfriend if he noticed anything.. (is it not just between my ears?) and he pointed it out right away.. Hihi

    @Mamatobe, Pinterest.com is like a big pinboard. You can just browse around and then 'pin' something to one of your own boards.. I've got a whole collection like that with different boards full of ideas. Really super addictive

    I had breast augmentation, so since then you can clearly see veins running across my breasts haha.
    Apart from the little brown drops of discharge, I haven’t had any complaints or noticeable things. We’re in our town at a food truck festival, and because I’m pretty convinced I’m not pregnant, I had an Apple Bandit.

    Well, morning has arrived, but I haven't taken a test yet. My gut feeling says it'll be strongly negative. I just expect my period tomorrow
    I think the brown discharge means I won't stay pregnant. Even though it could logically be due to implantation somewhere.

    Oh haha, I've never had that before... maybe I'm just talking myself into it.. but somewhere deep down I just have a feeling... I really do wait until I'm overdue..

    I totally get why you're 'scared' of a negative test.. I kind of am too.. so I'm just waiting it out calmly (well, nervously)..

    That has cost me so many disappointments in the previous months. I'd rather save myself that.

    I'm also just trying to wait it out, there's not much else we can do anyway!

    I’m also having those thoughts again that I’ve gotten my period.. I had that yesterday too, just take a look! Your body is such a strange thing.. I’m losing a bit of my courage now
