Waiting for period after miscarriage

Hi, I also posted something last week about the number of days between ovulation and my expected period. I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. On the forums, I read that you should count the day you lost the embryo as day 1. I cleared my hCG after a few days (I tested for it). Last Monday was day 28 (normally a cycle of 25-28 days). It's Friday now. I'm starting to feel more and more pregnant, but the test is negative. No sign of my period yet. My question: Are there people with the same experience? And after how many days with a similar cycle did you get your period again? It could also be that the hormone changes are making me feel nauseous. I'd love to hear from you.
