Ovulation test

Hi Lisa,
I was also constantly wondering... is it coming or not? Should the line get darker or not...
I personally had fertile mucus, then no mucus for 2 days, and then a positive ovulation test along with mucus discharge.
I’m posting a picture of my tests; I’ve been on the two-week wait since today.
The test was also noticeably lighter today.

Hopefully this helps you out a bit.

    Hey trees87,

It's hard to tell whether you're ovulating right now or not! What a feeling of uncertainty.
I do the ovulation test 3 times a day so I'm sure not to miss it because I don't feel anything from my ovulation. I've had 2 fairly dark lines for 2 days now, we've been trying for a few days, not today but tomorrow again, or should we also try today? What do you think...

Personally, I'd skip a day... and then check with your test to see. To do one extra in between.
Which round are you in? I didn't feel anything from ovulation in the first 6 cycles, just mucus production. Now it turns out I have mucus production for 3 days first and then only 2 days later my ovulation.
I also always thought it was already super positive on my test... so not it could be even more positive.
I did tell my friend about this cycle so he also knew when we 'needed' to do it.
Because according to tests I had an egg on (I think) 7 or 8/6 and my friend wanted to go for it anyway last night.
Otherwise, put a picture of your tests on... I'd like to take a look.

    Trees87,
I took the ovulation tests again today and the lines are much less visible. I think I’m ovulating today. I keep feeling a stabbing sensation in my left groin (that feeling) which I don’t usually get. Yesterday and the day before, I got two thick lines.
Is it true that you have 2 days of ovulation and then 12/24 hours until the actual egg release? At least that’s what I read, which could fit my situation pretty well.
I’m still in the first cycle. Hopefully it works out right away, but you never know when you want something too much—it often doesn’t work out that way.
Ouch, that sounds really tough to keep getting disappointed every time. Especially when you find out you’re not pregnant.

Seems like a good idea to talk it over with your partner, right? I also discussed it with my husband well in advance, and he was totally fine with everything.

Yeah, just keep trying, who knows, it might still work out!
Alright, I’ll try to upload a photo.

I can't see where I can upload a photo. I'm on my phone, not sure if that matters.

Yes, I completely understand you!! It's really frustrating when it just doesn't work out every time. I'll be rooting for you guys, hopefully it's the right time this time!!

Yes, I think so too, I had exactly the same thing, 2 days of thick positive tests and the next day much less. We had sex every day so we were sure it didn't miss!! I've also been feeling nauseous in the mornings for a few days now, plus every time a headache, and I'm still producing mucus and my appetite is not like usual. Next week I'll do a test!! Super exciting!!
I've never had these symptoms before during my cycle but well, I shouldn't think too much about it otherwise I'll disappoint myself. Just go with the flow.

I tried to upload a photo but it doesn't work, sad!! Maybe the app works differently on my phone? Or if I were on the official site?

    hey,
Yeah, I usually work via my fixed PC or on mobile just through the site (not the app).
I also have mucus production, but otherwise no issues.
So still a thick week to wait, but I'll stay realistic.
    Lots of good vibes!

Ooh, maybe that's why I can't post the photo, I'm on the app. Haha, I'm also still in the thick of waiting! So exciting! Yeah, definitely realistic. I just assume it's not going to happen, so I won't be disappointed.

And are there more updates? Haha, really exciting!

Hey Lisa... yeah, I just got my period. But yeah, another round of it again.
How are things going with you in the meantime?
  10. Lisa jansen #11

    Hey trees,

I also got my (period). This time it was very different, I had some blood on the first day and then only brown discharge, which felt so weird.. but I also found out last week that I have a slow thyroid and immediately started taking tablets; maybe that's what caused it. I started taking them on Friday and by Saturday I was like pfff now it will be extra difficult to get pregnant

You're also taking thyroid hormone, and if the levels are on target, it's normally no problem.
You also have a reason to get some extra blood drawn.
Keep your chin up! We can do it
