Pregnancy tests, ovulation and ovulation tests
Based on the ovulation test, I should be getting my period now, but the pregnancy test is negative.

Hi,
I had a miscarriage a month ago at 8 weeks. My hCG levels went down quickly. I’ve been using ovulation tests and should have ovulated about 16 or 17 days ago. My pregnancy test was negative today. Based on my ovulation test, I should already be on my period. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Of course, I really want to get pregnant again. That’s why I started this topic.

You often read here that the tests don’t turn positive until much later.. I’m afraid you’ll have to be patient for a bit longer.. Maybe your body just doesn’t produce hCG as quickly.. -

I think so too... wait... maybe a longer luteal phase... I read somewhere. Sounds nice to have a regular 28-day cycle again... you know what to expect.
