Baby wish
Waiting...
Hi ladies,
We’ve been trying for our first baby for a few months now. I’ve had a normal 24-day cycle every month. This month, we actively used ovulation tests + an app that tells you the best days every day.
The app and the days matched up, so we consciously tried on those days.
I was supposed to ovulate on the 15th, and on the 20th I woke up with a nagging feeling low in my belly. During dinner, that nagging feeling became quite intense. It lasted about 5 minutes, and then the symptoms slowly faded, so by evening I had no more discomfort.
Last week, I had occasional light period-like cramps that came and went. There were days when I was so tired I could barely keep my eyes open.
I kept distracting myself to not think too much about it. Today is my expected period date, and there’s still no sign of a period. Later this morning, I realized I should’ve tested with first-morning urine, so I just went ahead and took a test, and it was negative.
Some women don’t get a positive test until a week or so after their expected period, but I don’t really want to research too much into it. Otherwise, I think I’ll go a bit crazy.
I’m not sure where I stand—will my period start late this month, or is there still a small chance?
Looking forward to hearing your positive experiences
