getting pregnant at 21

Hey, everyone! I have a question. I'm 21, single, but I have a really strong desire for kids. I've never been in a relationship, and I'm wondering if it's weird that I want a child now?
Greetings!

I totally get your wish for kids.. But how do you see it for yourself?
You're still so young.. Maybe you'll meet a really nice guy in the next few years.. It's much nicer to enjoy life together and fulfill a wish for kids..

I'm 19 and married. I'd wait a bit longer. Doing it together is much more fun than when you're pregnant.

No, I don't find it weird that you really want a baby. I'd seriously consider whether I could and wanted to do it alone. If you still feel that way, I'd talk to my family and see if you could get help if you need it. If you have your family on board, I'd go for it.

I do understand that you have a desire for a child. I had that too at a young age. But do realize that between 21 and 26/30 you go through quite a bit of personal development. (This sounds silly now) I myself had to lose a baby at 27 and despite the grief, I am glad that I was able to weigh the pros and cons more realistically than I did at 21. Even though I've always been a serious girl.
I also don't know if they don't tell someone so young to wait a few years first. It's pretty tough being a single mom. I'm experiencing it now at 34 and although I have my house, tree, and beast all in order, I am still a bit afraid that I won't be able to give everything that is good.
Also consider that a child gives you a lot, but also takes away a lot of freedoms (which you can better afford in your 20s). Especially without a partner. By that I don't mean that a child is a burden, but that you really need to consider whether you should go for it now and whether you can give your child everything you would want and that it might need.
