Pregnancy test action

Hi, I'm new here.
I was wondering if anyone else has tested with the ones from Action? I have an irregular cycle and tested, but there's only a very faint line. Any experience with this?
The photo is in my profile; I couldn't upload it.

  1. Day #2

I’m also seeing a faint line for sure! Maybe buy a Clearblue digital one? Then you’ll know for sure! For now: congratulations!
  2. Day #3

    When is/was the NOD?

I always tested with Action tests and only ever got faint lines during a pregnancy.. Maybe you tested really early? Just wait a day or two and then test again.. You'll definitely see a difference..

Thank you for your lovely messages. I have no idea when my period is due; it's been 18 weeks since I was last on my period.
So I tested again this morning, I just couldn't help myself.
But I'm still feeling uneasy about it.

There's always something to see on every test... That's not for nothing... I get that you want to test often. Haha, I did too. But then the difference from the previous day is just not that big. If you wait a few days in between, you should really see a difference...
Do you have an irregular cycle? Any idea when your ovulation was?
  7. Jody1994 started this #8

No, I really have no idea when that was. The only thing I know is that my last period was in March.
Haha, yeah, I also need to wait a bit before testing now.

Yeah, I don’t get it at all. I’ve never had a 2-month cycle, so I have no idea how far along I am. It’s so exciting!
  9. Knuffel #10

Okay.. That's quite weird then.. No other pregnancy symptoms at all?
Maybe give your GP a call for a blood test. If you're already past your due date and your test is always slightly positive, something might be going on..

Yeah, I have an appointment with the GP on Monday. The test is getting darker, but I don’t understand my cycle at all anymore. The weird thing is, my belly is really, really bloated—I didn’t have that as much during my first pregnancy...

That is indeed a bit darker already.. I just can't imagine that you're already quite far along with such a line..
  13. Jody1994 started this #14

No, not with my first either. It was a very dark line right away, so I was 7 weeks then. So I don’t understand it at all. I’d guess more like 3 or 4 weeks, but it’s pretty hard to estimate when my cycle has been so weird these past two months..
I’m curious if the GP will be able to figure something out on Monday.

I had really thick, bright positive tests with my sons very early on. But this pregnancy started out just as faint as your tests did. I was at just under 4 weeks then. But yeah, it doesn't really mean anything at all.

No, it's bizarre how things can vary so much, so it doesn't really mean anything. I'll leave it as it is for now and wait until Monday. Thanks for your sweet messages.
  16. Knuffel #17

    Yeah, sounds smart indeed!
I'm really curious how the results will turn out.
Good luck getting through the weekend

    Thank you, hug!
Did you actually have a lot of symptoms? With my first, I was only nauseous, and now I don’t have any at all, just a bit bloated and very tired, but that’s it...
  18. Knuffel #19

Hihi, well this is my 3rd pregnancy and I've had HG with all three. With the first two, things started improving from week 16 onwards. This time I'm on suppositories, so I really hope I start feeling a bit better now. And I've been absolutely exhausted this time too, which I didn't experience with my boys. So yeah, I've definitely got plenty of symptoms going on!

So I went ahead and tested today, couldn't resist. And yes, hey, the line is a bit clearer now. What do you think? It's still an Action test, so I haven't had any experiences with it yet.
