pregnant again after CMV infection - pregnant or imagining it?

Hi everyone!
I’d really love to hear your thoughts on this.
In December, I was 9 weeks pregnant when I got a CMV infection. Unfortunately, we decided to terminate the pregnancy. After that, I had to take the pill for 5 months.
I stopped taking the pill on April 25th and had withdrawal bleeding on April 28th.
My gynecologist said that “coming off the pill” isn’t really a thing or doesn’t require a waiting period, so we started trying right away.
I’ve been experiencing all sorts of pregnancy symptoms for the past 2 weeks now, but the tests (early sensitivity tests) keep coming back negative. Before the pill, I had a regular 28-day cycle every month.
Could my body be playing tricks on me like this, or is there still a chance that I might actually be pregnant?
Thanks in advance for your replies!

Symptoms: fatigue, emotional, back pain, nausea, spotting, headache, cramps... and this for almost 2 weeks already.
Anyone who has experience with the sensitivity tests that test negative 4 days before (suspected) PERIOD but later maybe positive?
    Greetings

You really don't feel like it, I get that. So that list of complaints is basically just a short list. But be careful, a positive test four days after the pill is often false due to the stoppers in the pill. I'd just wait until your period is late for a new test. A positive line four days after stopping is very unlikely. Still doubting?
