unsure after miscarriage

Hi girls
I had a miscarriage on March 30, 2017, induced with Cytotec. Everything went well.
My first period came 27 days later, so on April 25. I bled heavily for 4 days, and on the last day it was just a little bit, as it should be.

Now it's May 22, and if it's been 27 days, I should have gotten my period yesterday, but I still haven't. I've had a pretty bad half-week of lower back pain when I move forward or backward, or while sleeping. I also have incredible mood swings, which is really unpleasant, but no sore breasts. Instead, I have more bumps around the nipples... and a lot of white discharge. Sorry for the details.
Does anyone here have experience with this? I don't dare to take a test yet; I'm mostly afraid of getting my hopes up for nothing . Should I wait another week or not?

I've become very insecure about my body after the miscarriage.

Hey. How long was your cycle for the mc? Your symptoms sound like pregnancy, but unfortunately, they can also be part of an upcoming period.. If I were you, I'd take a test within a few days if you haven't gotten your period yet, then at least you'll have certainty.. And you're definitely not the only one who's unsure about her body after a miscarriage!

My last cycle was 28 days (so today)... I've been feeling like my body is letting me down this past month. On the one hand, I'm obviously hoping it's a hit. I'll go get a test if it's not here by this week, right? Can it not be delayed because of a miscarriage I had?

That's right, I felt it for the first time after the miscarriage and it felt really good!
Thanks for your reply, the test will be taken by my partner.

    xx

Did you already take a test, or did you still get your period?
