Pregnancy tests, ovulation and ovulation tests
Pregnant or not?
Hi ladies,
My husband and I have been trying for our first baby for quite a while, we're now on cycle 15. We're going through the hospital together with the gynecologist. Some things have been found out about my husband, which makes it almost impossible for us to get pregnant naturally, and we're going to start with IUI insemination soon. Now, I have to go to the hospital on Friday (so tomorrow) for one of my last tests, and I'll get contrast fluid injected into my uterus and ovaries, and X-rays will be taken to make sure everything is open so that the inseminations can succeed.
Now here's the thing.. I've been bleeding for about 17 days now. Not heavily, but bright red (I initially assumed this was my period), but why it keeps bleeding for so long is still unclear. I felt quite dizzy yesterday and today, and I did a pregnancy test anyway, partly because I wanted to be sure I wasn't pregnant since that fluid is very harmful to a fetus, which is why it's only done in the period after your period and before ovulation. Butrrr... now the test was, in my opinion, very faint positive (see photo). I don't know if my eyes are playing tricks on me, because after trying for so long, it could also be that I'm imagining some lines a bit

I don't know what to make of this yet. What do you think?
Greetings Kimberley
