Quick question about ovulation tests

MissVenice
Normally I'm very regular with my period. Of course, it's just when we've decided to try for a baby that it doesn't show up. (A week early and very light) So now I'm looking for ovulation. However, I read in the manual (test action) that if you test positive, it's best to "do it" after 24 hours but within 48 hours. I always thought that if the test was positive, that was the "do it" moment? Sorry, I'm a newbie with ovulation tests. Can someone explain to me how or what?
Thanks!

With a positive ovulation test, the egg is released within about 24 hours, so I’d definitely have sex after a positive test because the sperm can survive for a while and wait for the egg The egg doesn’t live very long.
