Tip
Something just popped into my head, which might be a good idea for people whose kids go to daycare or have daycare nearby.
At the daycare center here in the neighborhood, it's possible to throw used diapers in the container. They get recycled. We have to buy special diaper bags for this - they're also available for non-customers, just a bit more expensive than for customers (I think €5 and €7.50 per roll of 10) - and you can throw those in the container at the daycare.
It saves a lot on waste disposal costs, at least here, because we pay per emptying, and with those diapers, the container fills up quickly.
I don't know if there are more daycare centers that offer this option, but it's ideal! And if they don't do it at the daycare, you can always suggest it, right?
