Getting pregnant

LotteGuest ·
I'm currently finishing up my last pack of pills.
Then I'll stop taking the pill because we're trying to conceive.
I plan to finish my pill pack on Sunday, May 21st.
My period should start a week later, on Saturday, May 27th.
Which day would be the best to get pregnant?
Thanks!

It depends on your cycle. If you know how many days your cycle is, you can calculate it. That way, you'll know approximately. If you want to be sure, you'll need to use ovulation tests.

And they actually also advise against getting pregnant right after stopping the pill because then you don't immediately get your cycle. They recommend waiting for 3 periods.

When I stopped the pill, my body went off track. I had irregular cycles, and it took a few months for everything to get back in order. Keep in mind that your body needs time to "recover," and it might not happen right away that you get pregnant.

I used ovulation tests right away, so I always knew when I was ovulating and when my period would be about 14 days after ovulation.
