Hi hi..... just curious who's currently trying to conceive? And which round are you on? It'd be nice if we could share this exciting experience together! For me, this is the first round. I'm on my period right now, but after this, we're going for it! Greetings

Hi hi, it's exciting! I liked the first round—you look forward to it and wish it had happened yesterday instead of tomorrow. After my cycle was 47 days long during the first round, I found it awful. Tension and anxiety. Now, on day 16 of round 2, I'm busy with ovulation tests to track my cycle and, of course, hoping there won't be any more disappointments.

Hi Shewe, so nice that you've just started too! I've been tracking my cycle for 2 months now with ovulation tests/temps..... Yeah, I really can't wait either haha It's nice to be able to share my egg here so at least I'm not boring my boyfriend to death haha! Good luck because for you, the exciting part starts again now. Hopefully good news!

We're also just starting our first round. We already have 3 kids: 1 from me and 2 from my partner. Now we're trying for a baby of our own.

Exciting, Tori! I'm super curious. I'm really counting down the days... I can't stop thinking about it! It's lovely to have a baby together. We'll keep each other updated

Round 8 here! Using ovulation tests and temperature tracking just in case we need to go the medical route...
Hopefully a positive test soon, but that hope is fading a bit. Even though we're only in round 8... doubts all around

I also use OPK tests, but I don't quite get it. I had one day that was a bit darker, but not as dark as the first line, then it got a bit lighter again, and then a bit darker again. I can't really make sense of it, which is annoying. I'm starting to doubt. Does anyone else have this experience, or does it become clearer in the beginning because the lines are always like that?
  7. Raisa #8

@kriebels I'm on day 9 of my cycle.
As for ovulation tests, shewe, I did get a really clear line at one point.
  8. Shewe #9

Okay, then I really need to have patience and wait. The next few days are now on day 17.
  9. Raisa #10

I often had a positive test on day 17, sometimes day 19. If your tests run out, the darkest one was still your peak.

I’m usually on day 19 or 20, so actually a bit later. I’m already happy to have a positive ovulation test in hand. It feels like everything works out that month... I only really consider it positive if the test line is as dark as the control line. But it remains a tricky thing...

I'm already on the 26th cycle but we're keeping hope

    Hi Kitty
Oh, that's such a bummer... hopefully, it'll work out for you soon. Are you already going through the medical process for this?
I find myself really focused on my age... the fear of what others might think! It's really wasted energy.

    Hey there,

Yes, I’ve had the scope procedure now and everything with my partner has been checked too. Everything is completely fine. We’re planning insemination in about 1.5 months... hope it works out before then

Don’t worry about what others think. Maybe it’s just in your head. Ultimately, no one else cares—it’s just you and your partner. It’s your choice. I’m 30 myself and my partner is 46; people might talk, but I don’t care at all haha

Hey, I'm in my first round.
It's all quite exciting. I always had an irregular cycle... but lately it's been pretty regular.
  15. Raisa #16

    Exciting JWx! Good luck!

    Hi Kriebels!!
    We're now at round 10.
The doctor has started the tests at the gynecologist.
Last March, my Implanon was removed from my arm, and in September I had my first period. Since January, I've had a regular cycle thanks to a course of treatment.
Today was supposed to be my period, and last week I had a light bleed—didn't even need pads.
I also had some cramps and wasn't feeling great.
I called the gynecologist, they checked, and said it could be implantation.
Now I'm feeling nauseous, my stomach is acting up, and no period yet.
So we're hoping that with round 10, we'll soon get to call ourselves mom and dad.
Have you been trying for a long time?
    Love xx
  17. Raisa #18

    Exciting, Chantal!
Tests usually start pretty early; normally it's only after a year, or do you have irregular ovulation? Or do you suspect a reason why it's harder?
  18. Chantal Guest #19

    Hi hi Risa,
They suspect endometriosis because of my severe abdominal pain.
But pregnancy is definitely not impossible, and we’ll keep our fingers crossed hehehe
  19. Raisa #20

Exciting! Luckily, they can do a lot nowadays, but the trajectories are quite tough and long, I think. But I wish you success, Meis!
