    LIS!! ;-) and otherwise Liz

    Elizabeth is way too fancy
  3. marijke Guest #4

Elizabeth is more beautiful because Liz is so boring. Greetings, Marijke.

You could also go for Elizabeth as a first name and another name as a second, and then use Liz as a nickname. Liz is short and strong, really a name of today. Elizabeth is timeless, but I think it’s shortened more quickly. I’d consider whether the name you choose fits you. Good luck!

Eliza is also beautiful and can't be abbreviated too much, and it's still very close to Elizabeth. Personally, I think Liz has nothing to do with the name Elizabeth anymore, which I find a pity for such a beautiful name. I really think Eliza is lovely and closest to Elizabeth. I would go with Eliza, but definitely not Liz. Greetings, Madelon.
  6. irma Guest #7

    Liz
  7. krista Guest #8

I think Elizabeth is more beautiful, or like someone else here already wrote, Eliza, because Lis is such a common name. Greetings, Krista
  8. lorette Guest #9

Definitely Elizabeth, I don't find Lis appealing. Greetings, Lorette

    Elizabeth

If I may give my honest opinion, I think Lis sounds like a nagging name, but Elizabeth sounds chic and beautiful.

I think Elizabeth is also more beautiful—it's a lovely, timeless name. I don't think "Lis" sounds like a real name anymore; it comes across as just an abbreviation. To me, Lis feels like a simple, unremarkable name. Sorry, that's just my personal opinion. So I'd go with Elizabeth, and you can always shorten it to Eliza later. Greetings, Rozemarijn

My daughter's second name is Elisabeth. Well, in the Dutch way. With a Z is English. I think it's a beautiful name. So why not take 2 names? Just take both of them
  13. tyler Guest #14

What's wrong with English? I find it has a bit of an English style to it, and I also think Lis sounds nothing special. Sorry, Eliza was mentioned earlier here, I think it sounds really nice too. Greetings, Tyler

Lenita, may I ask what the first name of your little girl is? By the way, Elisabeth is really beautiful. As a second name, I think it's even more beautiful, but as a first name too. Lis, ugh, a bit too ordinary. Sorry for being info-less, I hope I'm not offending anyone here. It's just my personal opinion. It's kind of funny, because we always wanted the name Elizabeth for our daughter, but my husband wanted the name Summer. In the end, it became Summer, and I regret it so much. So you see, I'd say go for Elizabeth. Greetings, sunshine.

I meant inspiration for the name Lis, written too quickly.
  16. patricia Guest #17

I think Elisabeth is really beautiful. Just go for it, otherwise you might regret it. Greetings, Patricia
  17. marion Guest #18

I'd go for Elizabeth. It's so beautiful and timeless. Many people will be jealous that you gave your daughter such a lovely name. I'd say don't hesitate anymore; give your daughter a beautiful name. My daughters are named Ellen, Sjors, and Fay. I think Lis is nothing special; it doesn't have anything. The name Lis... Greetings, Marion

When I see the name Elizabeth, I always picture a beautiful girl from a Reiki family. I feel that this name gives a lot of value to someone. Lis, sorry, it sounds the same to me as "lus" or "las." I don't think Loes is a beautiful name. Elizabeth, on the other hand, is gorgeous. Greetings, Nienke

I completely agree with you, Elizabeth. Beautiful name!
