Positive?

A line is a line! If you're not pregnant, you don't have hCG and therefore no line either, so congratulations! Do you maybe have a photo of the test so we can take a look?

    Hi Pluisje!
Thank you so much! I still find it hard to believe because he’s so light, and I actually tested 'too early' I’ll try to attach a photo!

    That's clear! Congratulations!!!
Maybe do another digital CB tomorrow? Then you'll also know how long!

    I see it too! Congratulations!
I also had a light test line 3 days before, and the day before it was a bit darker. Now my period isn't coming either, so that confirms it too haha. I'll still do a Clear Blue test.

Thank you! I find it so hard to know whether my period will come through because my last cycle was 54 days long and I'm only on day 35 now I called my GP anyway, especially since I've only had diabetes (type 1) for 3 months. Everything needs to be kept under tight control as soon as possible, and even though things are going well (I've also received approval), my levels are still a bit high overall. They'll call me back soon; maybe they want to do a blood test, which would give me a bit more certainty.

    Okay, exciting!
Yes, I really needed to take the test for peace of mind and will only get a blood test at the first ultrasound on June 2nd.

Tricky, huh! I don't dare to be happy yet because I'm afraid I'll still get my period. Or that the test gives a false positive . After how many weeks do you get your first ultrasound? I think my GP will do a blood test, they're pretty easygoing about it, and with a chronic illness, they'll definitely want to do it, I guess. Pfff, the nerves. And then having to tell my boyfriend, who actually wanted to wait another half year

I have that same insecurity, hoping everything goes well and it doesn't turn out otherwise. I don't know my cycle, so this should be the first period after stopping the pill. So I'm one of the lucky ones where it happened right away?????? First ultrasound, I'm 8 weeks and 4 days.

Wow, that's amazing, congratulations from the bottom of my heart! This was a hit for us right away; before it had happened by accident, but last month there was a real chance. Even though I had accounted for at least a year. How long does that still feel, huh, that first ultrasound. You'll probably not see much earlier, but I think you're already looking forward to it! I stopped the pill last year after the summer, first 4 months neatly 32 days and suddenly 43 days, 49 days.. 54 days the last one. Didn't feel better on it!

    Hi ladies,

Just thought I'd share a quick update Did a Clearblue test last night and it said pregnant 2-3 weeks! Also brought a sample to the GP this morning and that was positive too (I think it's just a regular sensitivity test?). I'm starting to get used to the idea now, even though it still feels so unreal! Thanks for your input!

Dear ladies, I've had 3 pregnancies and I always felt right away if I was pregnant. Now I'm already 3 days late and have been testing until today, but all negative!! I do have sore breasts, but that could also be in my head. Has anyone had this happen and turned out to be pregnant after all?
  12. Esme27 #13

Oh, tricky! I think it can really only be two things: either you're not producing enough hormones yet, which makes the test negative, or your cycle is a bit off. I've read that it's quite possible to have different symptoms in one pregnancy compared to the previous or next one. Maybe wait a few more days and test again? If it's still not positive, I'd just keep an eye on it for now; I suddenly got my period last month after 54 days. It's really frustrating not being able to know for sure!

Sofia, that's nerve-wracking. I understand you're doubting. But heavy breasts and being late can also just be painful period symptoms. Testing every day is pointless. Wait at least a week after your delay. Then test again. If it's still negative then and your period still hasn't come, give your GP or midwife a call. Sometimes there's a late ovulation or your cycle is just different.
