Baby wish
hopeless....
Nimw
Hi,
I really need to share my story with people who hopefully understand...
In December 2015 I took my last pill, so from January onwards I could get pregnant for the first time...
This was a moment my husband and I had been looking forward to for a while. I had kept putting off this wish (for my job... looking forward to a permanent position in education... well... it offers more security, right... I sometimes already regret waiting for this...).
At first I had some trouble getting my period... The gynecologist said this could be normal, but as long as there wasn't a certain amount of time between cycles, I shouldn't worry... If I wasn't pregnant within a year, we'd look further...
Now, I hadn't had my period since late August... so I went to the gynecologist in October... she looked at my cycle calendar that I kept... it turned out I probably only had 3 or 4 ovulations...
She gave me pills to induce my period and I also got Clomid for the first time (1 pill)...
My body reacted very well to this, because I immediately had a very nice egg that was about to ovulate on day 12! That evening I was allowed to inject Pregnyl... Unfortunately, it didn't work the first time...
The second time, again 1 pill of Clomid and on day 12 another nice egg, immediately Pregnyl...
On January 10th I took a test and I was pregnant!!! YAY!!! 1 year after starting! I was so happy!
3 weeks later the fun was over, after a regular blood test it turned out that my pregnancy hormone levels hadn't risen enough... Immediately to the gynecologist... The embryo had stopped growing... I had to take pills to induce the miscarriage...
Now I've had my 2nd Clomid course (after my miscarriage)... My period started today... So it didn't work...
I find it hard to find someone in my circle to talk to about this... Because everyone gives the same answer; 'You shouldn't dwell on it so much!'
Yes, very easy to say, especially when both sisters-in-law are pregnant and when one of them has an accident that actually comes at a bit of an inconvenient time (while it won't work for you!!!!) and my other sister-in-law is due 2 weeks earlier than I would have been if I hadn't had a miscarriage... it's painful to see her belly grow and realize that mine could have been like that too...
