Fiene, Filou, Flore, or Fauve

Since the names of our two boys start with an F (Fedde and Faas), we'd also like to give our daughter a name starting with F. The 4 we like the most are in the poll. Of course, you can suggest new names too!
By the way, Fauve is pronounced 'Foof' and is French.

I think Fem is a lovely name too!

Such lovely names! I also wanted to name my daughter Fauve, but my husband found it a bit too unusual. Now it's her middle name (Amélie Fauve).

Flora, Floor, or Fem might be some ideas.

I think Fiene fits best with Faas and Fedde.

My granddaughter is named Flore, so beautiful

    Dienen (l)
  7. Moonlight #8

    Fiene I meant

I can't choose, I think they're all so beautiful! Maybe also Fiore, Felice, Febe, Farah, Freya.

I think Fiene fits best in your list! I wouldn't personally choose Filou right now; my cat is called that, and many other animals in Belgium

Lovely names! I think Fauve is really beautiful, but I also love French names.

I really like Fiene! It's actually quite common these days..

Fijne or Flore, what do you think of Fiore?
  13. Zozo Guest #14

Fiore is beautiful! I find Fijne a bit less appealing.. it reminds me a bit of nice Christmas days..

    Fiene is practical! Or Fleur?

Thanks for the comments! I think Fiore sounds really beautiful! Fiene clearly got the most votes, but we're not going to choose that one in the end because, in our opinion, it's a bit too common.

Great that you now (better) know what you want!
  17. Philou Guest #18

I myself like Philou, I think it's a really beautiful name. But when it comes to Faas and Fedde, I'll go with Fiore, like above. But from your list, I'll go with Fauve.
  18. Bente Guest #19

I really like Filou! Actually, I like 'Philou' even more, but I understand you want everything to start with an F.
I also think Fauve is a beautiful, classic name. Fiene is indeed very popular. I think Flore and Fiene fit best with the other names: it sounds a bit more Dutch.

Filou! Now that you mention it, it's really lovely, hadn't thought about it yet
