Trying to conceive with type 2 diabetes

Wars
Hi everyone,
I'm Warsha, 28 years old, and I've had type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure since 2015.
I take daily medication for these conditions, which has been adjusted for women trying to conceive. Except for the diabetes—I would need to temporarily switch to insulin 4 times a day as soon as I get pregnant.
I've been married for almost a year now and stopped the pill in August 2016.
My cycle is still very irregular, though sometimes it becomes regular again.
I haven't done any ovulation tests yet, but I'll leave that for now.
We've been trying for almost 9 months for our first baby, and I hope we'll succeed soon.
Besides my health, I also need to lose weight. I weighed 90 kg at the beginning of March and now 85 kg as of April 12th. This is thanks to exercising 3 times a week and being mindful about my diet.
My goal is to naturally reach a healthier weight, so I still have 20 kg to go
I'm staying positive.
Are there more diabetes patients in the group who are also trying to have children?

    Hi Warsha,
I just read your message here. I have type 1 diabetes (I'm 30 years old). Not type 2 like you, but maybe it's still helpful if you have any questions. I'd be happy to help
We're trying for a third baby and already have two beautiful boys.
    Best, R.
