Having trouble getting pregnant

Hi everyone, I'm new here and will introduce myself..
I'm Jaymee, 23 years old, and I live with my boyfriend (32) and my little boy (1.5).
After a tough period in 2012 due to a miscarriage, I finally got pregnant in 2015. Fortunately, with a healthy little boy! Now we've decided to try for a 2nd child..
It wasn't easy then, and it surely won't be now either. But we're keeping our hopes up!..
Let me explain a bit... My body has never been in order (that's how I'd put it, haha). Always very irregular, ever since I got my period.. and it got worse and worse.. from monthly to every two months. From every two months to every quarter.. even down to once every half year...
I've had several fertility tests, but no abnormalities, nothing. It just doesn't happen as it should. Even with medication, nothing happens, and several hospitals had given up. I still don't have any clarity on this.
But anyway, I got pregnant! I was so incredibly happy (but also scared) and in Oct 2015 he was born, a healthy little boy of 3135 gr and 48 cm! Super happy and we're still enjoying it!! What an amazing thing to be a mother!
After 11 months, I got my period for the first time, and after 26 days again! So I was happy! Maybe everything will turn out okay after all! The next month it took 7 days longer.. the month after that even 34 days longer.
And now that our little man is 1.5, we'd like to have another child.. but judging by how things look now, it's going to take a lot of time again. But staying positive is important!
I'd like to talk to several people who maybe have the same experience or have had it, or know someone close who has gone through something similar..
And also want another child, or for the first child.... and how it all goes and to support each other!
Furthermore, I wish everyone a smooth pregnancy and joy!!

I'm so glad to hear that it worked out for you too..
I have the same problem as you, I never get my period monthly, it can sometimes take months..
I took the pill for 5 years and stopped in January 2017.. I got my period exactly 1 month later and haven't had it since..
I'm also always afraid that I won't be able to get pregnant because of this..
But I'm happy to read your story, it gives me some hope
