Hesitant about the name Laurine

Hi everyone,
We're expecting our first baby soon and we absolutely love the name Laurine.
But I read somewhere on a name website that someone saw the word 'urine' in it (which hadn't even occurred to us). We still think Laurine is a really beautiful name, but I'm really doubting it because I'd find it quite unpleasant if everyone thought of 'urine' when they hear her name.
What do you all think?

    I've never heard of this name before, but I think it's really beautiful and original, quite nice
    I don't think of urine at all when I hear it.

    I only noticed it when you mentioned it; otherwise, it wouldn't have caught my eye. It's a great name, though.

    Nice name!
    But I wouldn't give it to my own child. I had a girl in my class once called Fleurine. She was new in the class, and the first thing someone said when she introduced herself was "Fleurine urine." And she heard that for the rest of her school days.
    Apparently, she was already so badly teased for her name at her old school????

    I know a Laurianne, by the way. Maybe that's another option if you decide not to go with Laurine.

    I didn't notice it myself. I think it's a nice name. Otherwise, maybe Laurie.

    I’d go for Lauri or Laureen, but not Laurine—it sounds like “lukewarm urine” to me. Sorry if that comes across that way, but I wouldn’t take the risk. Good luck with your choice; I know the problem haha

    I had a Laurien in school. Beautiful name, I wouldn't make the association, but if you're really bored with it, could this spelling (Laurien) be a solution?

    Nice name! And I only noticed it too when you said it haha. It never stood out to me before with that name. Laurien is also beautiful
