Hi lovely people,

I've had a longing for a baby for a long time now, but it hasn't happened yet, and there's a baby boom on Facebook. Everyone is pregnant and I can't talk to anyone about it.

My name is Vanessa and I'm 24 years old. I've already been through the medical mill, but no cause was found.

I thought I'd create a group to see if there are other people who want to talk. I really need this myself.

Enjoy this beautiful day!

Xx Vanessa

    Hi Vanessa,

If we're not pregnant again by next May, we'll probably also have to go through the medical system. We've been going through tests since August 2015 (February 2016) and January 2017 (MK).. Are you not getting any further help from the hospital or something similar? And how long have you been trying, if I may ask?

That baby envy on Facebook or from people around you, I totally relate to. Everyone else gets pregnant and not you.. Or you do get pregnant and something goes wrong, it's really not normal at all!

Strength to you ladies, it's no small thing.

We've been trying for a bit over a year now, and it's definitely starting to weigh on me.
I'm on Facebook a lot too, and it's mostly people I know who started trying after us - that makes it even more frustrating!!!
We have an appointment with the gynecologist on 19/4, and hopefully, we'll get some clarity then.

    Greetings

Hi, I'm Stefanie, 26, and my husband will be 28 in a few months. I stopped the pill at the end of May 2016 and I have a very irregular cycle. Since May 2016, I've only had my period 5 times. I'm currently seeing my GP and having a blood test to check for anemia or thyroid issues. If both are fine, I'll probably go on to see a gynecologist. I find it all really nerve-wracking and I truly hope we'll be able to have a baby.

Pixy, I totally get your frustration, and it's even worse with people who started later in life, just like you. It's absolutely annoying! Wishing you all the best with the gynecologist. Do you already know what kind of treatment plan you'll be going through? Or will there be blood tests and stuff first?

Hey Stefanie, did you already have irregular cycles before you started using the pill? Hopefully, the results are good, and you can move on to the gynecologist!

Hi Kirsten, with the pill they weren't really equal but not like now. Now it's really extreme. Can only wait and see but find it very exciting.

Hi Stefanie, it's totally normal to feel a bit nervous about it. Let it wash over you, and in the end, it'll probably be fine. It'll work out!
  8. Stefanie Guest #9

Yes, I can only wait and sometimes I find that really hard.
Vanessa; that's so tough that you've been dealing with this for so long and have already had tests (as I read it)? I understand nothing was found at all?
May I ask how long you've been trying?
  9. Pixy1989 #10

    Hi Kirsten,
I've already had blood tests, an HSG, and a biopsy, and almost everything was fine except for the biopsy, which I'm still waiting for.
But my boyfriend has 98% abnormal cells...
So I have no idea what's going to happen now. I guess first a sperm test and hopefully then we'll move forward quickly...

Hope for all of us a little miracle soon!!!
    Xxx

    Hey pixy,

Ah, you've had quite a few tests already, hope you get your answers soon!

And yeah, a quick miracle would be amazing!

    Xx

Oh my god... I don't see double, do I?
  12. kirstnn #13

You definitely don't see things double, right! Is that a pregnancy test?
  13. Pixy1989 #14

    Yesss
  14. kirstnn #15

    Congratulations!!
  15. Pixy1989 #16

    Thanks, girls!
I hope everyone here gets pregnant soon!!!
It just has to take so incredibly long, right!!!
  16. kirstnn #17

Yeah, I hope so too and yeah, it was indeed way too long, but in the end it was worth it
  17. Stefanie Guest #18

    Congratulations!
My blood test was good, so my thyroid is fine and I don't have anemia. I've been referred to a fertility specialist and they'll contact us within 4 to 6 weeks. I want to let things rest for now and won't be using ovulation tests anymore. First, we need some peace here.
