Pregnant

Angel
Hi, can someone help me?
I had 5 days of late period last week, a very light period or like they also call it a 'semi period'.
I've been having headaches, feeling nauseous after eating, dizzy, watery eyes, bloated stomach with rumbling/abdominal pain. Pain in my groin, legs and back etc.
I took a pregnancy test two days ago and it showed an almost invisible positive line, does this mean I'm pregnant??
Nervous greetings

Hi, they say "a line is a line"..... but maybe try another test just in case? If everything's okay, the line should get darker as you get pregnant! Good luck with testing

indeed, do another test. If it was a false period, it's normal that you still test very faintly.

Hey, I just tested with two different ones, both super light but still visible...
    So, pregnant?
    ????

A line is a line, so congratulations! Maybe your ovulation was later than you thought, so you're less far along, which is why the line is still so faint.

    Hi Ysabel
Thanks for your reply, I'm really happy but also very surprised, it wasn't really planned. I actually don't have a steady boyfriend right now :/
I think I can definitely say it's from when it happened, maybe there's just not much hcg yet
    Still can't believe it

It could also be a late implantation, or indeed as you say, that you don't have much hcg in your body yet.

Do you find it nerve-wracking to tell the person concerned? I can imagine you might find that difficult. Fortunately, it is welcome though!
I understand you can't believe it yet. I still find it surreal that I'm pregnant after 7 weeks. Maybe that's because it's just not visible yet.

Angel, congratulations! I can see it's not an easy situation. You start counting from the first day of your period. Good luck!

Yes, you start counting from the first day of your period. I only ovulated a week later than usual, so I'm a week less along.

That's indeed a really tough situation, but personally (I of course never know for sure what I'd do), I would tell him, even though he has a new girlfriend. You never know how he'll react, but he was there at that time, so he should take responsibility. And how nice it would be if your child later has a dad who cares about them and looks after them. But I completely understand your hesitation. It's easy for me to say from my side because I'm not in your situation.

Thank you! Oh, I officially joined the morning sickness club today. I got to spend some quality time with the toilet this morning for the first time. Other than that, I only have sore breasts and fatigue. I do have a belly too, well, more of a bloated gut haha, it looks quite weird. It's really annoying that you're suffering from headaches; that's already pretty unpleasant normally, let alone when you're pregnant.

    Greetings!

Hi Skullie, thank you so much.
And no, that's really not the case
Wishing you lots of luck too.

    Hey Ysabel,
Haha yeah, that can happen, we're probably about at the same stage
I think I'll tell him because I can hardly keep it to myself ???
But apparently he's had those friends for a long time without me knowing. And I don't know how much it would bother him.
Haha that's not very nice, hope it was just for a short while
Actually, my breasts aren't bothering me, they're just a bit bigger. Today I only have back and leg pain
Hope you're not feeling too nauseous today greetings
