Fay, Joy, Nina, Feline or.....

Hi everyone,

We're looking for a cute, tough but sweet girl's name. My background is Latin American, so the name needs to be pronounceable in both Portuguese and Spanish.

I hope you have some nice suggestions. We're not looking for a standard name like Jessica, Jennifer, a top 10 name, or a Dutch name.

I'm really curious to hear your thoughts!

I think Joy sounds really nice, but I wonder if you immediately think of a girl when you hear the name.

    When I think of Joy, I definitely think of a girl.

    I personally love the name "Sumera" which is Portuguese. But I find Joy very feminine and cheerful!!! And I also really like Fay!

    Nina is such a beautiful name, that would have been ours if we had a girl, but we're having a boy. Do you know a nice, tough, short boy's name, preferably not Dutch??

    Nina sounds so childish, Joy, yes and no. The meaning is nice, but indeed, I don't really picture a girl with it. Feline is beautiful and sweet. Fay is also nice, cute, but you hear it too often. I'd go for Feline. What do you all think of Felicia, by the way? Greetings, Lizanne
