Hi,
I'm pregnant and have a Mirena IUD... I'm really worried. I'm facing some tough choices like; should I have the IUD removed or leave it in during pregnancy? I hope someone on this forum has experience with this?!?!?

    .4 Pregnancy while using Mirena
It is very rare for a woman to become pregnant with Mirena. When you no longer have a period while using Mirena, it almost never means that you are pregnant. After all, one in five users no longer has bleeding after a while. If you no longer have monthly bleeding and you show signs of pregnancy such as morning sickness and/or vomiting and sensitive breasts, then you should consult your doctor for an examination and a pregnancy test. In case of pregnancy with Mirena still in the uterus, your doctor will want to remove Mirena as soon as possible. There are good reasons for this: an object that is in the uterus during pregnancy increases the risk of miscarriage or premature birth. This is what I could find on the internet about it
