I'm not sure if I'm pregnant.

hey everyone,

since last week I've been feeling dizzy and nauseous, and I even fainted once.
I've had sore breasts, insomnia, lower abdominal pain, headaches, fatigue, mood swings, etc. for a few days now.
I think I'm pregnant, but I don't dare take a test yet because I've only just started showing symptoms.
Plus, I stopped the pill in early April but haven't gotten my period since?!
Is it even possible to get pregnant then, or does this look like a phantom pregnancy?
I hope you can give me more information.

best, evelien

    Hi Evelien,

I don't know how your cycle was before you started the pill?
I’d suggest taking a test just to be sure.

Hi Evelien, just testing it out for now, indeed. Then you'll know.
And yes, you can get pregnant even if you haven't had your period yet. At some point, your cycle will kick back in, and then you can get pregnant. You don't need to have your period first for that to happen. The chance is quite a bit smaller, though, but far from impossible.

Hi Evelien. I'd definitely test it out, even if you've only just started experiencing symptoms. Since you haven't gotten your period after stopping the pill, you don't know exactly when to start testing because you don't know your NOD (not on day).
