Cramps!

Hey ladies,
Last Friday I had my ovulation and since yesterday I've been having quite a bit of cramping in my lower belly.
Well, it's been 11 years since I was last pregnant (twins), so I don't remember exactly what I felt after ovulation anymore because the twins were an accident. I did find out very quickly though (4 weeks, so during the NOD period) thanks to really intense cramps and stabbing pains, nothing like a period, more like 20 ninjas armed with samurai swords. I was also vomiting so hard I felt like my insides were coming out. This lasted for a long time, until week 18. After that, everything suddenly disappeared and I had a long, happy pregnancy.
Now I have cramps too, but not as intense as back then (thankfully), and I can't really compare it to my previous pregnancy's timeline.
We've been trying for a while now for this pregnancy, about 2 years. We've always done it naturally and I've been off contraception for over 4 years. I know my body well and I have ovulation pains every month.
The classic question: "who recognizes this" and can give me a success story to hold onto?
